Absolute basics motorcycle series

Before you go for any learner assessment, you do need to control a motorcycle effectively.

See “Absolute Basics learn to ride KB” if you are just starting to look at understanding how to ride a motorcycle.

Can I learn before getting on a motorcycle?

There are plenty of advice guides showing online and perhaps  friends and family that can help but this can be filled with bad advice that may ruin your introduction to motorcycling.

Moto Agent Helper has made a collection of very specific task focused videos called the “Absolute Basics” to help you visualise before and refresh after a ride session with a buddy or motorcycle trainer.

Most importantly, these recordings have proven to work and we have repeatedly had absolute new learners succeed in progressing their own riding and obtain their own licences via approved assessors.

No matter the size of the motorcycle, the absolute riding basics skillset applies to all motorcycles. Understand your controls!

What if I don’t have access to a motorcycle?

What came first, the motorcycle or the motorcycle licence (ie chicken or egg scenario)?

When you start out you may not have a vehicle to start with.

1. Review motorcycle riding schools in your area and make a booking. They have many motorcycles and shared protective equipment.

2. A friend or family member trusts themselves to guide you and can lend you a vehicle to learn on. (Still need the safety gear!)

See the Knowledge-base articles to find out more.

Moto Agent Helper has three abc’s:

a. Watch the complete “Absolute Basics” YouTube playlist, you will be quizzed to be sure you have watched all the videos (we expect questions too!).

b. Where protective gear - A helmet and gloves at minimum.

c. Pay a fair fee for the use of the motorcycle and training session where ever you go if not using someone you know.

Are you helping a friend, your partner or a family member?
